12am on a school night out buying a new game. Yes I spoil him. He more than earns it though.

Still a kid at heart
A friend was getting rid of a Thomas the Train set and we decided it would make a great Christmas present for Thomas' nephew. Of course he had to "test" it out first.

Day 14
We went to Golfsmith in Austin. Thomas' Grandad bought him a set of clubs for his birthday.

Day 13 ~ 5k Run
Celebrated Seadrift's annual Shrimpfest this weekend. Thomas entered the fun run. Here he is sprinting towards the finish.

Snapped this one with my phone at Whataburger. Next to Thomas is McCullen. Considering how tight of friends they are he's sure to crop up in a lot of these photos.

Missed taking a photo this day. I'm still going to try and keep up with this as much as I can.

Day 4 ~ Last Day of School
1 year down, 3 to go. So proud of him, he finished the year with a 4.0!

Day 3
Old monkey bars at the bayfront. Thomas was worried they would collapse on him. One leg is half rusted through making it pretty shaky, you'd think they would tear it down.

Day 2 ~ Game Face
Short on time today. This is how Thomas spends most of his leisure time with game face on in front of the Xbox.

Day 1
For day one I thought it would be appropriate to catch Thomas waking up. Being a teenager he does not wake up well. Even worse when there is a camera shoved in his face. 15 minutes of wrestling was spent trying to get the covers off his face. I must have taken 20 pictures of sheets & blankets. Not a great picture composition wise but it's a genuine smile.

Thomas in 365 days
I was presented with a challenge tonight. My friend and co-worker asked for people to join her in taking a picture a day for a year. I'm not much of a photographer but I love taking pictures and my favorite subject is, of course, my son.
Time is flying by. It is still crystal clear in my mind holding him in my arms as an infant. Now he's almost 15 and days away from finishing his freshman year in high school. In a blink of an eye he'll be off to college. This challenge/blog will be a reminder to appreciate every day I have with him.
So, here goes! 365 days of photographs.
